What is Yin Yoga?
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held for 3–5 minutes (or longer) to target the body’s deep connective tissues — like fascia, ligaments, and joints — rather than just muscles.
These long-held, passive stretches gently stimulate circulation, hydration, and flexibility, helping release tension stored in the deeper layers of the body, hips, spine, and more. This practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting calm, rest, and emotional balance, while also reducing stress and stimulating meridian lines to support overall organ health
